Sorry I haven't added much here. I will someday soon, I promise!
Believe it or not, that's where I am right now. Technically, I am currently in at our host's home in Ramat-Yishay, which is about 30 km south-east of Haifa. (Coincidentally, "Yishai" is my Hebrew first name; it's weird to be in a town with your own name.) My family and I are staying in a moshav called Beit Lehem Haglilit. It's relatively calm here, much of the state of terror is overrated, though maybe it's just that Israeli's are so much more resiliant in these situations.
My sister's wedding went well, but only because we were able to move the location (for the third time!) to Havatzelet HaSharon, which is a charming little beach due north of Tel Aviv.
I heard a few Katyusha rocket explosions this morning, but far more often, I hear jets soaring overhead. Honestly, I just want the fighting to end, and have little love for either party in this. Violence like this begets itself.
I'm on someone else's laptop right now, but I'll upload photos and stuff when I get back home. That might be difficult, as our flight is on British Airways, with a stopover in Heathrow -- more misfortune for us! Hooray!
Shalom/Salaam/Peace,
Jesse
